Each experience/tour is totally different....what do you want to learn?

We have a port-a-potty on-site.

We have excellent potable water available to fill and refill your water bottle.

We have a basic first aid kit available to treat minor injuries.

We are at a high elevation (5,300 feet) - be aware of how altitude may effect you.

Please come prepared with:

• • Water bottle

  • Proper clothing for the weather (cold winters/hot summers)

  • Good, closed-toe shoes

  • Camera (we do NOT allow photography inside our buildings, but you will have plenty of chances outdoors/on the glove)

If you show up with improper attire, this will severely limit  your experience.

Do not wear any furs or faux furs (boots included).

Depending on what all you would like to learn, the experience is custom for each group.  We're here to teach!  If you want to learn about what it takes to become a falconer, what it takes to care for raptors, or even to help us prepare their meals, just let us know.  This is all about you!  We welcome anyone interested in the hunting sport, wildlife biology, or just for fun!  Learn what it takes to care for raptors and have the chance to watch them do some trained behaviors as well as have the opportunity to interact with at least one.

Please keep in mind, these birds are living, thinking beings.  We never promise any special performances.  

We do not fly birds if the wind speed is over 13 mph - the experience won't be fun for them or for you.  We'll watch the weather closely!

We do not fly birds if it's less than 35 °F or over 100 °F outside

Pets are NOT allowed - not even if kept in your vehicle. The birds are familiar with our hunting dogs, not yours.  Our hunting dogs, equine, and bovine friends are not going to be friendly with your pets!    

All bookings are handled by our scheduling software called "Trafft". Please ensure that any email sent from "no-reply@trafft.com" will not be marked as spam or junk.

Your booking request will be in a pending state until approved by our Master Falconer. Your booking will be confirmed in a separate email, usually within 24 hours of your booking request.

Our specific private address in the Cañon City, CO area will be shared with you in the confirmation email.

If you cancel any time 3 days (72 hours) prior to your scheduled experience start time, you will receive a refund minus a booking fee of 10%.

If you cancel within 3 days (72 hours) prior to your scheduled experience start time, you will not receive any refund. 

If your experience is cancelled by us at any time due to weather at our location, physical conditions at our location, or for any unforeseen circumstances with our animals or handlers, we will work with you to reschedule your experience. If we are unable to reschedule, we will offer a full refund.
